If you are not registered to vote or are unsure of your voting status, these are a few helpful resources:
- Use vote.org to confirm that you are registered to vote.
- Use vote.org to register to vote.
- If you have any problems or questions and need to find your state or local election office you can visit this usa.gov page.
- If you’re living overseas you can request an absentee ballot to be mailed using Vote From Abroad.
- As an additional resource, the journalists and researchers at DAME put together an excellent guide to voting in every state.
Why are we encouraging you to vote? Social change is critical to our work, the communities we work in face unprecedented challenges, and the nonprofits we work with are struggling due to the health and economic fallout of the pandemic. Helping people vote and overcome voter suppression efforts benefit society beyond the outcome of any individual election.
